Anne-Marie Raymond experienced the onset of AS in her late twenties and was diagnosed at the age of 40. Since then she has been on a quest to live well in spite of her diagnosis.
Through years of enquiry, experimentation and determination she has found ways to move beyond the pain and minimise the impact of AS on her life. She credits much of her progress to the whole-person approach of Functional Medicine; root-cause healing through nutrition, mindset and movement and a return to traditional principles of good health.
Anne-Marie is passionate about supporting others with AS. Five years ago she began blogging in her spare time and created the Facebook community Living Well with Ankylosing Spondylitis. What began as a passion project has grown into a full-time career. Anne-Marie is now a health and lifestyle coach for AS, empowering her clients to discover their own lifestyle tweaks for better health outcomes. For more information on her coaching work you can find her at annemarieraymond.com.
