  1. Good Morning! Thanks for responding, . Hoping with Humira, the pain eases for you. It takes time to work and you should have results after 3-4 months. Should you find this biological medication not effective or the side effects too overwhelming, what is your next step? Have you discussed this with your rheumatologist? You know what they say, knowledge is power. Here is a link to read up on the different biologics I hope it helps and doesn't overwhelm you. I trialed 5 and finally stumbled upon one that worked for my axspa pain and enthesitis. It was tough sailing, but slow and steady I found relief. Here are some links as well to forums and articles relating to Humira. I wish you all the relief possible. Rebecca

  2. HI Rebecca thank you for your message. Really struggling with pain at the moment I've only just started on humira 40mg 2 weekly injections so I'm praying this drug kicks in soon and works it's magic for me. I've heard some awful stories that you can have hair loss on this drug I'm feeling quite anxious about this side effect I've lost hair due to other drugs I've been on in the past so praying it doesn't happen to me and its plane sailing and i get good relief from these self injections. AS is such a horrible disease to have .

  3. I wanted to stop by and welcome you here to our site. So very sorry to hear you are feeling sore from AxSpa. Are you being treated for this disease yet? If you have any questions, you can always contact an advocate or even post a question in a forum. Feel free to explore the site by clicking the upper left corner lines next to the AxSpA logo. Hope to see you around. Rebecca (comm advc)
