      Checking in to see how you are doing through the cold - we hit 24 degrees this morning. Pretty nearly for us southwesterners. I take this over being up north in below-zero temps. How is the fireplace working? Toasty and warm? Sending thoughts of healing and wellness your way. Rebecca (team member)

    Are Itchy ankles a sign of AS or is it my Neuropathy?it’s like there are little blood veins sticking out that are irritated by socks. Anyone
    else have this ? "

      - Thank you for the response. Itching just makes you want to dig in and scratch but I haven’t yet. lol. I have some Mometasone Steroid cream and it certainly does help.

      In my experience, the itching I get is from my central pain syndrome and neuropathy I developed when I had injury and surgery of my neck and spine. Neuropathy can cause sensations like itching, tingling, or a feeling of discomfort. It's also possible that symptoms could be related to other factors such as circulation issues, dermatological conditions, or even the way your socks interact with your skin. Truly, the only way to know is to bring it up with your treating physician. They may be able to offer some solutions that will bring relief. I am right there with you, and get so irritated from the itching with very little relief. Hope your holiday is bright and merry. Warmly - Rebecca (community moderator)
