A Day With Chronic Pain

It’s not being able to sleep well because your body is in consistent chronic pain. You're constantly moving around not being able to sleep well even causes insomnia.

Then you get mood swings due to the pain and not being able to sleep like you should.

Physical and mental pain

It takes about 15 minutes or more to get your body going, stretching constantly.

You go throughout your day not knowing if you are going to be able to function properly due to the stiffness and not being able to move like you should.

It affects you mentally. Combine AS flare ups with fibromyalgia - it feels like your body is burning and nothing helps. Not being able to sit or walk right, it’s really bad.

That’s just to name a couple chronic illnesses that I live with.

But you look fine!

People see you and think quickly, “oh you look fine, nothing is wrong with you!” Or they say, “you are too young to be going through all of this.”

Well, guess what? I’m going through it no matter what my age is or what I look like on the outside.

I’m living it every minute of my life. I’m learning how to cope with it.

For those people out there that are going through it on a daily basis, just know you’re not alone in this. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
