   <p>Hello, Becky, <br> <br> I have used Simponi and it was a good medication for me. As I recall (it has been a few years) this 3-6 month advice was what I received as well. I do recall it worked well for RA, which is what I used it for. I had not at that time been diagnosed with AS. However I would use it for AS if it were offered today. <br> <br> What i do recall is some of the short term joint pain associated with the medication. In my case it was fairly short term and not disruptive to my life. If you are having significant distress I would suggest you get in touch with your doctor once again. One important piece of information that might help explain your symptoms is a symptom tracker. Many of these exist and filling one out diligently can be a powerful tool to express your issues. <br> <br> I hope you are able to find the correct treatment.
