Day to Day: My Own Ankylosing Spondylitis Story

I give thanks everyday I get up. No one can understand what we go through or how we feel, unless you have ankylosing spondylitis (AS).

Why me?

I used to be angry, like, "why me?" What did I do wrong to deserve this? Why am I being punished?

But one day I woke up, looked in the mirror and said ENOUGH…stop feeling sorry for yourself, there are people out there much worse.

One day at a time

I only have one life to live and I’m going to live it one day at a time.

Yes, some days I’m slower than usual, some days my house chores won’t get done, but it’s okay to take it one day at a time.
