The Best of Us
A.S. can get the best of us. I also believe it happens to the best of us. The ones that are strong enough to handle a battle. A battle that will likely get worse as time goes on. As time goes on it will become harder to fight and often we'll feel like giving up.
Don't get too down on yourself when those feelings arise. They're normal feelings. It's not easy to suffer night and day. Never feeling rested and a lack of sleep can get a person down. It amplifies our emotions, and it's easy to get overwhelmed.
Putting things in perspective
It is important to put it into perspective before you let it ruin your self-image, self-esteem and eventually your relationships. It's easy to fall into a slump of depression and anxiety when you never feel well.
Add the sense of being misunderstood or even dealing with people that don't believe in, or don't take your pain and discomfort serious and you're sure to be left feeling alone and subhuman. But you're not!
We are not alone
You're a fighter and a survivor each day. You wake up and getting out of bed is a struggle, simply getting dressed can be painful and if you've accomplished one difficult task than I consider you're winning.
If you couldn't find the strength to face the day, then that's ok too, because there's always tomorrow. Don't give up. You're important. I'm important.
We're not suffering alone. We're fighting together.
