PIP Hell

I tried 3x times to get PIP. It's pure hell, embarrassing, and demeaning from having a solicitor with me who went back in the room and gave them all hell. They don't know what I go through every day and hour of my life, I have fibro, AS, osteoarthritis, asthma, anxiety, depression, and allergies but still no PIP. Having to reduce the hours I work 😪 or giving up work completely, doctors' orders.

Nobody's listening to me and how I cope day by day. I feel really bad chest pain so I go to the hospital unable to move, so painful 😢. I need financial help to be able to quit work so I can continue to rest and recover slowly and less stress.

Is there any chance of getting financial help from the government 🤔 does anyone know?

The forms/assessment process is designed to trap and trick via deceit and is immoral. Don't let them grind you down.

Thank you so much x Iv got my bus pass now , gir my mental health issues ect . Iv got my name on the council list for a bungalow. As this will help me alot . Thank you so much for support as some people don't understand about a.s and are

Hi <inline-mention username="CommunityMember13011b" user-id="6763971"/> , I'm so sorry to hear that your PIP applications have been unsuccessful so far and that you have been going through all of these issues at the same time. I have been rejected for PIP myself so I know just how frustrating that is. Actually I applied to appeal the decision and they sent me a second rejection letter before I had even sent off the appeal letter myself! Are you from the UK? Because I did hear from a member of the community who was able to obtain some documents from NASS to supplement their application and they were accepted for it. I believe that the documents explained in greater detail the real implications of AS and I guess as they came from a charity they held a bit more weight. Maybe that might be worth looking into? I will also try and find the link that they sent me for this as I seem to have misplaced it at the moment. I hope that you are able to receive the financial help that you need and deserve soon. I'm ok but iv been binge eating this I what I do ... I feel that I'm no good and I'm unable to get my extra weight off which doesn't help..... p.i.p makes me feel horrible, thev seen my form back and are going to ask for evidence from my doctor, work was ok but I can tell there's no interest really there feeling vulnerable and I hate myself to . But on the other hand I got my bus pass ....

I’m sorry for being ignorant of what PIP actually means. However I fully get what you mean by others without AS having no clue about how it feels both physically and mentally. If I hear one more supervisor or co-worker say “but you don’t look sick, so why can’t you work today” I might just lose it. I hope your situation gets resolved and gives you some type of relief from this horrible disease. Sending positive vibes to you.
