How can we go into remission and Live easy Life #Stand4AS

When I was 16 I felt pain in my lower back. Day by day I feel more pain whenever I sit for a long time in school or at home. I was unable to explain it to family members. I was carried to an orthopedics doctor. But nothing was diagnosed even after MRI and some blood tests. Later I was unable to sit and walk. After some time, I visited a hospital again and was admitted there. Based on my history (At the age of 13 I fell down from a height of more than 10 ft. and developed bone T.B.) a team of three Doctors started ATT TB med. for 1yr, after that I felt better no pain no stiffness up to 4 years. thereafter once again my symptoms rise up again. I visited more than 5 hospitals in my state and finally, I was diagnosed with HLA-B27 positive. After some diagnosis, Dr. Confirmed that You have developed AS and suggested me to see a rheumatologist. But It was too late. Now I am on medication since 7 years.
I took biologics injection two times in Sep 2015 and Nov 22 at first time I felt very good but now I am not feeling well. I am taking Tofacitnib since 2 years. when tofacitnib started I felt better for some time.
Now in winter my pain flairs up. Please suggest some tips for better life.

  1. You've had a long journey toward diagnosis. We appreciate you sharing your experience. We are amazed by your perseverance. Managing a chronic condition like spondyloarthritis can be complex. It's not uncommon to go years without a diagnosis. And, it's not uncommon to face fluctuations in symptoms, especially during seasonal changes. Everyone's experience with AS is unique.
