What early signs did you experience that may have indicated you had axSpa?

Great topic! I struggled as a young child with IBS as well as TMD/TMJ. Both of these were my first symptoms. Though I never knew these were early signs, my rheumatologist, on my consultation after hearing my history, discovered the debilitating jaw pain and knew immediately I was dealing with SpA. My gastro, also upon hearing my history, immediately asked about inflammatory arthritis. I am so grateful for these two physicians. They set me on a path toward healing. I hope those with this debilitating illness are finding this week manageable. Rebecca (team member)
