A New Year, New Beginnings

Feeling quite stressed and unsure of my future living with AS. Managing anxiety and stress, I recently started a new meditation app to help ease symptoms. As the New Year rings in, what are some effective ways you manage stress to improve symptoms? Do you have any specific techniques such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or hobbies that bring you joy and can enhance your mental and physical well-being?

    Sorry to hear that it has been a bit of a stressful start to the year for you - I'm sure most of us with AS can more than relate to that!

    A meditation app sounds like a great idea, how has that been working for you? Which one do you use?

    This year I set myself a resolution of not having a resolution and to do whatever it is that makes me happy without harming my body and so far it has been going pretty well although I have been working more than my spine would like so maybe some holidays are due to recharge a little!

    I have been saying no to things that I think might take a tole on my body a bit more and not feeling bad about doing so, which has definitely helped as well!

    I hope that February has been a kinder month to you and you are feeling a bit more at ease now.
