Hello everyone
Does anyone have there blood oxygen levels go up and down? And why does it happen.
Thank you

Hi
I just wanted to jump in and add that blood oxygen levels can fluctuate based on a number of conditions.
As Rebecca mentioned; heart and lung conditions are some of the most common conditions. In addition, sleep apnea, high altitudes, and chronic illnesses can all interfere with one's blood oxygen level.
Do you check yours regularly at home? I found a pulse oximeter (that goes on your finger) to be quite inexpensive and helpful.
It's important to bring your concerns to your healthcare provider's attention. (perhaps keep a journal of your readings at home).
Wishing you well, Doreen (Team Member)

Thank you, yes it is fluctuating, will be seeing the doctor, I don’t check it regularly but I bought one of those after I had Covid and it’s 97 right now it usually is around that or 94 but yes it’s helpful.
Will use it daily now thank you.
Yes good idea I will do that, thank you very much.
Take care

Hi there
Another that could help you understand is here: https://asthma.net/living/lets-talk-pulse-oximetry
I hope you find the answers you are searching for. I know I do not have issues with my asthma and oxygen levels, but many in the asthma community do. Wishing you the best. Rebecca (team member)
