Blurry vision

I woke up this morning and my vision was very blurry, I couldn't focus on anything close to me or far away. It lasted for a couple of hours.
I was tested for uveitis a year ago and was all clear.
I'm wondering if blurry vision is a sign of a flare up?
I was diagnosed last year so all still quite new to me! Any advice would be much appreciated

  1. You would most likely know if you had uveitis, just so you know. Extreme pain and redness. However, I have had uveitis many times. And that’s left my eye sight sort of weird. I sometimes have blurry vision, especially in the morning. It honestly freaks me out. Then goes away. Could be from the uveitis (see here ) https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/14414-uveitis

    1. - having blurry vision is so annoying. Not sure if it is related to AS/AxSpA but I would def see your eye doctor or at least your rheumy for assessment and treatment. We cannot give advice about diagnosis and treatment but do send you well wishes and hope that it quickly resolves and becomes much less bothersome. Please keep us up to date on your progress. 1. Hello,
Thank you for sharing that with us. How have you been since that blurry vision happened? Have you noticed any other symptoms?
I haven't had any experience with my eyes, so I can't really say anything here.
I think you should talk to your doctor about this episode of blurry vision.
        I hope this helps.
        Take care,
        Julie.
