Covid19 has kept all of us in our homes. I know it had caused some of us to lose our minds! What are you doing to keep your spirits up?

I have not been as isolated as I would have liked. I am a church secretary so I had to go into church as usual, but I do only work part time. I was a care giver for my parents but my father passed away in July of 2020. I still care for my mother and together we have started quilting more. That seems to ease any stress and is very relaxing for both of us.

I am sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your Mom.
I love how you both are taking up quilting, what a wonderfully relaxing way to spend time together.

I recently got some walking poles. Trying to get used to using them.

it takes getting used to the rhythm. This might help or not.
I used this video to learn the rhythm of how to use the poles. I hope it helps.

For about 2 weeks I had to repeat right hand / left foot, left hand / right foot.
Once I learned the rhythm I was doing well with that self talking as I walked.

Ooo rollerblading. Jealous! I hope you get to! Ice skating and rollerblading were my favorite forms of exercise. I'd skate till my legs couldn't support me anymore! 😂
