I Have A Facial Skin Rash Followed By This Burning Heat Type Sensation That Floods My Entire Body

Hi. I'm a 43 years old. I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis at 17. I have fused vertebrae in the centre of my spine. I cannot find any information when it comes to locating my particular set of symptoms. Since mid 2008, I've always had this burning heat type sensation. It's like a fire that rages through my entire body. I'm now feeling somewhat concerned because within the last 4 years, a rash has now developed on my face which has now spread to my neck and upper back and shoulders. It's a burning heat sensation that somewhat resembles sunburn. I have to wait until September to make an appointment to see the local dermatologist. I don't know the name of this rash, and I cannot identify it via any photos found on the internet.

I came here today seeking help on where I may be able to gather any information on what's driving this mysterious fire intensity within my body or rash on my face. Do you suspect this heat and rash may be Ankylosing Spondylitis related? I've experimented with just about everything organic food-wise to try and lower this raging inferno, but nothing has helped. I need a name that properly describes what this heat sensation is. Without a proper name, I'm unable to do a proper Google search. Please let me know if there are others out there who also experience a mysterious raging inferno, heat type sensation that travels through their entire body?

Thank you.

  1. I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I have experienced a feeling of burning sensation and nerve pain, but I think that might be either due to a pinched nerve from my spine or fibromyalgia. I have heard of this autoimmune issue but I’m not a doctor: dermatomyositis.

Maybe it’s like a fibromyalgia hot flash? But that Doesn’t explain the rash. I’m sorry.

I really hope that you find some answers soon. Keep us updated!
