Increased dose
Cosentyx is working but not taking away all of the symptoms. My dr recommended increasing the dosage from 150 to 300 mg. Does anyone have any experience with this dosage change? Any benefits or experience of side effects? Do you take both shots at the same time or do you space them out during one day?

, I am on consentyx for the last 3 years and now I think it is starting to be less effective. For the last year I needed to go up to 300mg once a month (it’s two injections). I am on Cosentyx as well. It is actually my longest biologic and going next month a year on it. I would say this is the only biologic I haven't had any bad side effects. It has helped me it getting out of bed and moving more than usual. But I am still feeling all over body pains and stiffness, especially at night. There are still good days and bad. But like I always say to myself to keep me going "One day at a time". I started off with one shot 150 mg and then my rheumy recommended to up the dose to 300 mg once a month. Now recently I been changed to one shot every 2 weeks. So will see if that helps. I have yet to see any difference. The thing about Cosentyx it works slowly. I have seen other members on it and it can take up to 8 months to see the full benefits. How long have you been on Cosentyx? I hope you find some relief with the new dose.
