Managing Painsomnia

How do you manage the times when you wake up in the middle of the night and your bones, muscles, and brain are all screaming in pain?

Let's discuss what helps you in order to help others!

  1. Painsomnia.. my biggest nightmare!


    Usually, when this happens, I wake up very cranky. I use mindfulness and deep breathing exercises.


    If I can, I will take a warm shower. Get some hot water bottles, I actually find lying and doing some stretches on the floor to help, and take some pain meds! I don't try to go back to sleep, but I do get back into bed, turn on the telly and hopefully fall back to sleep at some point!
