I’ve been on Xeljanz about 15 months. I wasn’t sure it was working until o got the flu and had to stop for three weeks. It’s made a big difference in getting my inflammation down and keeping my pain levels from being extreme all the time. May not sound like much, but it’s the first drug to help and makes a big difference in my quality of life. Hard to comprehend when these meds take 6+ months to start feeling the benefits.
I take the Xeljanz extended relief so it keeps working all day, I think that’a a newer formulation of your doctor can get approved for you.
Hope others find great help from the JAK inhibitors too.

Yes I was on both Rinvoq and Xeljanz for Ankylosing spondylitis. Unfortunately for me, they had very little effect. Xeljanz worked slightly better because I took it twice a day, so the effects lasted longer.
