Rinvoq
O am so tired but ill try to get this right.ive got fibromalalgia and axial and peripheral spondylitis im house bound im on screaming pain tried all Dmards all Biologics nothings working i have ct guided cortisone injections into my spine through my bum every 3 mnths that gave me about 3 to 6 weeks of at least walking it felt magical then,they stopped working for me ive been house bound since Nov awaiting Rinvoq and getting bloos done and all of that every month i last used Adalimumab but had no Biologics since Nov i am on Pregabalin amitriptylene paracetamol diazepam Dyhdrocodiene Methadone all for my pain and pls let me tell you i am sat her like i have some one drilling at my back pain is not even a word to explain its tortured but now would you take Rinvoq with all the risks it opens us up to cancers infection i understand my bloods will be done monthy but my mum had breast cancer and colon cancer in her mid 60s im now 57 any help would be really appreciated pls...its too much for me i cant take it.
- I'm truly sorry you're experiencing such severe pain. Dealing with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) can indeed be hard, especially when the pain becomes overwhelming and nothing comes close to relieving it. You are using quite a bit of medication that should help but unfortunately, the pain persists. I understand this pain. I'm sorry the injections have stopped giving you relief. In your other post mentioning Rinvoq - I responded by saying I do not use this one, but I do use Xeljanz (JAK inhibitor) similar to Rinvoq. Though it has several serious side effects and warnings, I decided to try it. My family has quite a bit of cancer, losing my dad and sister, so I truly understand your concern.
