- thanks for the great question. Hoping you are doing well and that you are not having too a difficult time with your SI joints. Unfortunately, on our site, we don't offer "advice" per se, but we do offer up our experiences to help you understand and make informed decisions when it comes to AS/AxSpA. I sure hope more people chime in to discuss the topic.
I haven't personally had my SI joints fused, but it was recommended should the pain become unbearable. Fortunately, I haven't had to have this surgery, and am grateful due to having a plethora of procedures and surgeries already. What I did want to suggest is an article with some information on SI Joint fusion. I hope you find it helpful and just something to read while waiting for others to respond.
