I recently read that Wellbutrin has the ability to lower TNF-alpha and possesses anti-inflammatory properties. Just wondering if anyone has tried Wellbutrin for their AS?
hi. I have been on Wellbutrin for a few years. It works well for AS. I started using it to quit smoking originally and my Dr noticed I was previously on it and said it’s off label for pain. It also improves mood.

I use Wellbutrin and deal with AS. Sadly I have not noticed much difference. This ran with what my Psychirastrist said might happened when I asked him to start me on Wellbutrin. His comment was that doe some people it works wonders and for others not much of anything at all.
Here are two articles that might be helpful.

Thank you for your reply, Rick! I’m sorry to hear it hasn’t helped with your pain. I was thinking of giving it a try, but am always hesitant to start any medication - especially antidepressants!
