Hi Ali,
I'm sorry to hear your muscle spasms are causing you discomfort. I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but I get cramps and tightness in my shoulders and around my neck. If I am able, I take a hot shower. I can stand there for a long time with the hot water hitting my shoulders. It really does help me.
I also have a small hot tub which can be very relaxing. My wife recently purchased a hand held massager too. It is quite effective, and you can do it yourself. They are on sale online at lots of places, I believe.

Hi Steve! I also find a hot shower, bath or hot water bottles help ease the spasms or provide me comfort. I will have to try the hand held massager! Thank you for sharing this I will keep you updated on how I find it.
All the best, Ali (Community Member)

Hi Ali, I am in a similar boat. I feel like the biologic and other medication doesn't help my muscle spasms. Sometimes they will wake me up during the night. Sometimes they are painful but other times they are not. So far, I have not found anything to help with the spasms other than reducing stress (which is not always doable). I hope we both can find something that helps with them.

Hi Anna! Thank you for sharing your experience with me. It helps me feel less alone! That happens to me too! For me, there always there and they are either sore or unbareably painful. I find baths and heat soothe the pain, or maybe just comforts me. But nothing fully works. And my body hates ice.
Keep me updated if you find anything that helps you!
