Tips For Surviving The Holiday Season?

The holidays are coming which is very exciting but a little bit daunting.

Unfortunately for us AxSpa doesn't take a winter break off, so as much as we want to let our hair down it's important we don't overdo it to avoid a festive flare.

I'd love to kick this off with some suggestions of my own but this will actually be my first Christmas in 5 years. I missed the first 4 of these by living in China where it isn't celebrated so I had to drag myself into work and last year lockdown in the UK forced me to spend it alone.

So I am excited to celebrate with others again, but I'm a bit out of practice and ideas on how to do so without doing myself any damage!

What are your tips for an AS friendly holiday season?

  1. Hope you had great amazing holidays. Would love to hear how they were. I think the best way to enjoy your holidays is to try and be at rest and not be around stressing situations. Try to get as much rest as possible and try to pace yourself. Listen to your body and what it feels. You know it best. Wishing you well and hope your doing well.

    1. Thank you very much! Unfortunately my parents woke up with Covid on Christmas morning so we had to cancel and I was forced to ride solo for another year! But at least this way there was no rushing around and I didn't overdo myself!

How was your holidays? Did you manage to get through them without overdoing it?

  2. I'm a little late but pacing yourself and scheduling rest are very important during the holidays. While I still had a small flare-up following Christmas, using these techniques probably helped prevent a big flare-up.

    1. let's just call it extremely early for the next holidays haha! Definitely great advice there though! Sorry to hear about your flare up, are you feeling a bit better now?
