Getting out of bed is excruciating. Anyone have ideas? It’s an hour plus before I stop hurting.

That sounds so rough. I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. Some people find it helps to do gentle stretches in bed before even trying to get up, or using a heating pad to warm things up a bit. I’ve also heard of folks setting an early alarm just to take their meds and then lying back down until they kick in. It’s all about finding what your body responds to, but you’re definitely not alone in this. Here's an article written by one of our contributors who shares their experience as well as some tips. You can access it here- https://axialspondyloarthritis.net/living/movement-therapy-spondyloarthritis-pain. I hope you find it helpful. -Latoya (Team Member)
