Hi Latoya
Sorry I am late in responding, having so much fatigue now lack of energy and putting on weight and eating more for lack of sleep/ pain and no energy.
The doctor said to see the rheumatologist he didn’t know totally useless🙁 seeing rheumatologist is hit and miss more miss than anything.
Not had feeling like this before if it’s fatigue, the tingling went quickly and now this and I have put four pounds on in weight and only 4ft 8.
Sorry no update yet. 😟

Thank you, yes I think I am in a flare still struggle to know how it happens and what I can do too stop it from happening as much, no it’s crap here just no understanding at all.
Last couple of days more extreme pain, it’s right at the top of my spine, it’s like your back is breaking into pieces, I have heatpad on and tens machine on and it’s not helping, I can take Naproxen but I am wary of it without a stomach protector which I can’t take, so will take the naproxen after breakfast today and later take paramol not together, not had the pain as bad as this since last year.
I am on statins due to family history I started last September I know they can cause muscle pain just wondering if it’s something to do with that too? Since September though haven’t had pain like this so I don’t think it is.
I can’t stop taking them as family history is bad and I am 66.
I am doing thank you and you take care.

Hi Latoya
Thank you for your reply.
Yes I thought it might be but not sure still as if you remember when I had tingling foot but that was a few weeks ago, this came on suddenly this afternoon and just like an electrical shock not had this before.
It’s underneath my left thigh.
I hope to get an appointment tomorrow at the doctors, thank you for the thread.
Yes I will do.
Take care

New and unexplained symptoms can fester up so many worries and concerns. But that “electric shock” or tingling feeling is often related to nerve irritation or inflammation. How long have you been noticing that feeling? Did it come on suddenly or build up over time? It’s good that you already have an appointment set for tomorrow so they can check it out. I know you're probably on edge until you have an answer, but until others come along and share their experience I want to attach a thread here where someone has mentioned the same feeling. Some members shared their experiences in the comments and you might find it helpful in the meantime -https://axialspondyloarthritis.net/forums/tingling-and-numbness. Once you visit the doctor, we'd love to hear an update if you're open to it. All the best, Latoya (Team Member)
