  1. Morphine

    1. Thanks for sharing. How often do you take morphine? Is it a pump? You're not alone in using this powerful medicine to control pain. Have you tried other treatments that just don't work for you? All the best, Kathy (team member)

  2. Movement with limits. Staying still for too long makes the pain worse, but moving too much causes a flare up.

    1. AS is a real balancing act, isn't it? What kind of movement do you like to do? Warmly, Kathy (Team member)

  3. Epsom salt bath

    1. An Epsom salt bath is my favorite way to end my day! -Latoya (Team Member)

    2. Thanks for sharing. A good soak is so comforting. All the best, Kathy (Team member)

  4. Enbril gave me psoriatic arthritis as a side effect for life, Taltz took my deep breathing away for awhile and now its every now and then and Cosentyx took away my body hair (back, arm pits, legs, and stomach), and it's still mostly gone. Also, early on, methotrexate had my numbers at borderline Jaundice, and sulfasalazine and plaquinil(sp) did nothing. I am hesitant to start another medication, though my rheumatologist wants me to start Humira. I'm too old to be a pharmacological guinea pig and therefore in a quandary.

    1. my primary put me on 30 mg morphine 3 x's daily for a few years now. I have a life now and can live in painful discomfort and continue to coach. Its enough and I'm grateful.

    2. I'm glad you can continue coaching, even though it doesn't handle all the pain. Being able to live life is so important. All the best, Kathy (Team member)
