I have a lot of lower body flares and currently taking Remicade...waiting for it to kick in. Has anyone found immobilization helpful (bracing/casts) when in an acute stage of a flare when movement is extremely painful?
We are doing a trial run of using casts to help with the acute enthesitis flares to see how things go. Definitely, a non-standard approach.

this is the first I've read that exactly states how I feel... Thank you!! I'm researching this medicine. But from my overall research it either isn't the right dosage or compatible with your DNA. There are DNA tests you're able to take especially for these types of medications. But some like Gabapentin what I take take 1-3 weeks depending on the dose.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It is so important to keep up on the research. It will give you a boost if you need to advocate for yourself with your medical team. Are you able to talk to your doctor about the information you find? All the best, Kathy (Team member)

Thanks for this tip! You aren't the only one who relies on compression socks. Here's an article by one of our health leaders who uses them too. She also uses heat among other things. All the best, kathy (Team member)
