Latent tb
Rheumy wants to put me on humira and did tb blood test and I have latent tb. I'm on rifampin for 4 months then not sure if I should still do the humira...any thoughts?
Was on humira 6 yrs ago for 2 months and immediately caught a cold that lasted three months! I'm hesitant to go again...and they actually wanted to start me on the humira one month in to the rifampin....I said no...let's see how things are after the 4 months of rifampin. P.s. tolerating it well...but MUST be careful to not take it with other meds or vitamins...made that mistake early on and got violently ill.

JimHi just wanted to check in and see how you are doing. Will Humira be your first biologic? We are here for anything you need. We always recommend follow your doctors instructions. Did he suggest starting Humira right after rifampin?
