Pain in your hands?

Does anyone else experience excruciating pain in your hands, swelling in the joints, to the point that you cannot use your hands very well?

  1. Yes. My fingers swell and my wrists ache terribly.

    1. The swelling comes and goes, but my knuckles have become enlarged. My thumb joints are the most bothersome. I am unable use tongs while cooking without being in significant pain.

    2. I know that has to be so frustrating for you. Have you had a chance to talk with your doctor about the changes in your knuckles and how much it’s affecting your hands? -Latoya (Team Member)

  2. My hands hurt when driving for sure. Can’t peel potatoes, use tweezers, brush hair, etc. without pain in hands and recently, cramping of fingers to point where they go stiff and get very painful.

    1. I have a Copper Fit glove that helps.

    2. I’m glad you found something that seems to help. I hope it keeps working well for you and gives your hands some much needed comfort. -Latoya (Team Member)

  3. me too! the past year i noticed that while sleeping my hands would tingle and burn then go numb all night. I also deal with flare ups in just my hands and especially my thumbs. sometimes i cannot grasp things and drop them. the whole thumb just goes into a Charlie horse and it won't function for a few seconds

    1. ,
      Thanks for chiming in.
I do hope these posts/conversations will help provide a bit of ease and comfort knowing you are not alone.

  4. I do have painful hands - especially after doing things with them OR just randomly. During flares sometimes my hands feel full or swollen or just painful and achy. I hate it. You’re not alone! Heat tends to help a bit.
