Seeking a diagnosis for axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) or ankylosing spondylitis (AS) can be a long journey. And receiving a formal diagnosis can be scary and confusing. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with axSpA or AS, there are resources that can help.
Axial Spondyloarthritis International Federation (ASIF)
The Axial Spondyloarthritis International Federation (ASIF) is a global organization with a mission to raise awareness about axSpA and support those who live with the condition. They offer information about the disease, community resources, and stories of people living with axSpA.1

The Spondylitis Association of America (SAA) is dedicated to finding a cure for AS, axSpA, and other related diseases. They work to raise awareness, fund research, and educate the community so that more people with these conditions can get diagnosed earlier and have access to treatment.2
National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS)
The National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS) is the only charitable organization based in the United Kingdom that is dedicated to improving care for those with axSpA and AS. They work tirelessly to raise awareness among healthcare professionals as well as policy and decision makers.3
