Just when I thought I finally had proof
My Gp says my spinal MRI is just wear and tear I got myself a second opinion on my mri it was a lot different to the one I got from the hospital . He told me getting a second opinion they list everything and called it wear and tear . I’m hbla neg I have 20 years of symptoms . Right sacroiliac pain mif spine sternum xyphoid process. Many many many symptoms ,

Hi yes it has. I found the perfect one even got the dr to do me a private referral to find out he doesn’t do private anymore. I’m in the uk by the way hope it’s ok to be here? Anyway I’ve had time to think today at the stupidity of leaving people to suffer and for things to get worse. I think I’m going to get my bearings back after this and get myself a sacroiliac scan what I should have had right from start and never got! Feeling deflated right now I mean who wants to have issues ? Pfft lol
I can see why you’re feeling so frustrated. After 20 years of symptoms and getting two different opinions about your MRI, I can only imagine this is putting you back at square one. Have you thought about seeing a rheumatologist who specializes in AxSpA to review both MRI opinions? -Latoya (Team Member) can get a Scan with your own money no bother but what I don’t like is they send the results to your Gp not you!
