Marijuana for pain

Does anyone know what strains of marijuana is best for pain

  1. I use a CBD/CBG combo in a tincture or vape form.
CBD is overall good for pain and inflammation while CBG adds a boost to the anti inflammatory properties of CBD. CBG has also been shown to interact with GABA which is a neurotransmitter that helps with muscle relaxation.

Alternatively if we are speaking thc, Indica strains are the best for pain, inflammation, and mood. They are the more calming and relaxing strains. Every strain hits people a little different, with different strains being better for different times a day. But it’s important to remember thc will always be psychoactive(make you high).

I see a cannabis friendly naturopath. We started by using a high potency CBD salve, then switched to a 60mg cbd per dose gummy along with the salve; but I was having issues sleeping due to that pain that’s familiar to all of us. That’s when we decided to try the cbd/Cbg combo.
It has been a game changer for me. I sleep better, wake up in far less pain, and since it is not psychoactive I can also use it during the day when my pain flares.
I have peripheral As with sacroiliac region involvement.

I’m probably supposed to say talk to your dr first.
But I live in reality, and reality tells me some people looking for alternative therapies live in locations where they can’t speak to their dr about cannabis.

    1. - I’m sure many Doctors do not have a clue about THC and they can’t write a RX for it. The State that I live in authorized some THC Gummy’s and Tincture. It’s a great idea but I think all are afraid of their shadow.my Doc wrote a script to the Doc overseeing it. I was well onto my way of having no pains.HaHa
Once again Government controlling what you can have even with an RX. I bought 2 30 bags of Gummy’s which were very expensive about 2 times what they should be , 60 Gummy’s $150.00 ! Since I am the quiet shy person I wrote a letter to the people at the top and shared with them that almost $7.00 per
Gummy was too high, and you would have to eat all of them at once to get any relief. I received a typical cya Corporate letter telling me how expensive it was to manufacture and they thought strength was ok. They only got me one time!
